At the Feb. 24, 2026, District 28 Board of Education meeting, the Board approved Alanna Lambert as the new Assistant Director of Student Services at Greenbriar School.

Ms. Lambert comes to District 28 from Wheeling CCSD21, where she currently works as the Student Services Coordinator. She has also held the following positions: Instructional Specialist for Special Education, Elementary Instructional Coach, and Special Education Resource Teacher.

Ms. Lambert holds two master's degrees from National Louis University, one in Curriculum & Instruction and one in Education Leadership. She holds a bachelor's degree in Special Education from Illinois State University. She will begin in her new role on July 1.
