District 28 offers a range of Summer Enrichment and Extended School Year (ESY) course offerings for students in grades 1-8. Students in grades 1-4 attend Summer Enrichment/ESY at Westmoor School. Students in grades 5-8 attend Summer Enrichment/ESY at Northbrook Junior High.
ESY is a special education service provided by school districts to certain students with disabilities to help them maintain skills over long breaks, especially summer.
Dates
The 2025 session will run from Thursday, June 5- Friday, June 27. There is no Summer Enrichment/ESY on Thursday, June 19.

Park District Beyond The Bell Program
Registration is now open for the 2025 Beyond the Bell Summer Camp, which runs alongside the District 28 Summer School program. Families can register online.
