District 28's Summer Programming offers a range of Summer Enrichment and Extended School Year (ESY) course offerings for students in grades 1-8. Students in grades 1-4 attend Summer Enrichment/ESY at Westmoor School. Students in grades 5-8 attend Summer Enrichment/ESY at Northbrook Junior High.
ESY is a special education service provided by school districts to certain students with disabilities to help them maintain skills over long breaks, especially summer.
Dates
The 2026 session will run from Thursday, June 4- Friday, June 26. There is no Summer Enrichment/ESY on Friday, June 19.

Park District Beyond The Bell Program
Beginning Monday, June 8, 2026, the Northbrook Park District will offer Beyond the Bell camp for students, ages 6-12, between the hours of 12:45 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. at Northbrook Junior High.
The Park District will provide bus transportation for students that attend our Summer Enrichment program at Westmoor Elementary School after 4th period. If you register your child for the Beyond the Bell camp, please alert the Park District staff that your child is also registered for the District 28 Summer Enrichment program.
