KidCare FAQ

Your child must be signed in by an adult in the AM and out by an adult in the PM, so he or she is not allowed to come or go on his or her own.

KidCare is available from 12:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on the following days when elementary students are dismissed at noon for students who have been registered to attend for the extended hours:

• Thursday, October 17, 2024
• Friday, January 17, 2025
• Thursday, February 13, 2025

Space is limited for the half days, and the cost is $30 per day. Registration is set to open on September 3rd at 8:00a and will close the Sunday prior to the half-day or once the program is at capacity.

In the event you need to make changes to your child’s schedule, you will have the opportunity to do so in writing to the KidCare Director at the end of the first and second trimesters.

KidCare is open from 7 a.m. to 8:10 a.m. and from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on regular school days with exception to the Friday before Labor Day weekend and the last day of school. KidCare is only in session when school is in session.

Express KidCare is available for families who do not require the full duration of services. AM Express is available from 7:50 a.m. to 8:10 a.m., and PM Express is available from 3:30 p.m. to 4:10 p.m. The breakdown of fees for Express KidCare during the 2024-2025 school year is as follows:   

AM Express KidCare
2 days/wk= $27 per month
3 days/wk= $38 per month
5 days/wk= $63 per month

PM Express KidCare
3 days/wk = $76 per month
5 days/wk = $126 per month

In the event your child needs to occasionally come early or stay late beyond the Express times, please contact Mary Bergman, KidCare Director and the KidCare Coordinator at the school at least 48-hours in advance to secure a spot. Please note, if you arrange for your child to come early or to stay late, you will be charged the full day rate.

The cost for the program varies according to how often your child is registered to attend, and the breakdown for the 2024-2025 school year of fees is as follows:  

AM KidCare
2 days/wk = $50 per month
3 days/wk = $75 per month
5 days/wk = $121 per month

PM KidCare
3 days/wk = $150 per month
5 days/wk = $242 per month

The annual cost to attend KidCare is divided into nine equal payments which are required monthly and invoiced from September to May. Monthly tuition invoices are emailed on the first of the month, and accounts must be paid by the 15^th to maintain participation in KidCare.  Parents can fill out a KidCare credit card authorization form and the invoice will automatically be paid on/around the 15th of each month.  All registered families will receive an email with the KidCare credit card authorization form in August.   

Please note, non-attendance days on the school calendar are taken into account when determining annual cost.

KidCare registration will open for the 2024-25 school year on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at 7:00 p.m   To register, click on the link to our Web Store. (web-store not live until April 9th) Please note, you will be charged a $25 non-refundable registration fee to hold your child’s spot.  

If you are registering for both AM and PM KidCare, your registration receipt will reflect one program. However, your child will be registered for both sessions.

In the event your child is placed on a waitlist for an AM and/or PM session, you will not be charged the $25 registration fee until your child is placed. Also, if your child is placed on a waitlist, you will receive additional information via email from Mary Bergman, KidCare Director. 

Registration closes on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at 11:59PM.. If program has reached capacity, your child will be added to the waitlist.
