This approach allows us to provide information about community programs in a way that is environmentally friendly and cost-effective. Family Fun Day at Athletico

Join the PTO Council in the annual fund-raiser to support our Sister School in Kenya from 3 to 5 p.m. April 13 at Athletico, 1900 Old Willow Road. Tickets are $15 for inflatables, games, food and a silent auction. All proceeds will benefit the Spurgeon's Academy in Kibera slum of Nairobi Kenya. Community Events

Consumer Protection & Fraud Prevention Workshop

Reps. Schakowsky and Schneider will host a workshop at 10 a.m. March 23 at the Glenview Public Library with representatives from the Federal Trade Commission, Illinois Attorney General's Office and the U.S. Postal Inspector's Office. Mindfulness in a Hyped Up World

The Northfield Township Youth Commission is sponsoring a Youth Wellness workshop from2 to 4 p.m. April 7 at Northbrook Public Library featuring mindfulness experts to help teens and adults discover ways to develop body and mind wellness to better manage the pressures of adolescence. Go Green Northbrook presents “Earth Day 4 Kids!” as part of Northbrook’s Earth and Arbor Day festivities from 9 a.m. to noon April 13 at Village Green Park.
Bring your kids to partake in upbeat nature-focused activities and lessons - a nature hike, crafts, planting, worm composting, and more!

Kidstage Productions Presents 'Wonka'

See District 28 students from Meadowbrook, Westmoor and Greenbriar in the Kidstage Production of 'Wonka.' Performances are at 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. both April 13 and April 14 at Gorton Community Center in Lake Forest. Tickets are $12 in advance or $14 at the door. Feeding and Nutrition Workshop

The District 28 Parent Advisory Council for Student Services is presenting a Facebook Live event with a pediatric nutritionist, Cindy Baranoski, on feeding and nutrition as it impacts growth and development at 9 a.m. Tuesday April 2.
