Support Programs, Scholarships With Gift Cards

Get a jump on holiday shopping and support PTO programs at the same time. Gift Card Plus offers cards from national retailers AND local businesses. Simply complete the paper form or complete an online order by Dec. 9. Your gift will give twice by supporting PTO-sponsored family programs, the paper calendar and directory app and the Homer O. Harvey Scholarship Fund.

Paper forms are due  to the school office and online orders must be placed by Dec. 9. Gift cards will be available for pickup by Dec. 16.

 Rotary Clubs International

Donate Coats and Clothing

The Northbrook Rotary Club is sponsoring its 54th annual "Coat Off Your Back" holiday clothing and coat drive. Bring gently used coats and clothing items to the collection barrels located in the lobby of each school. Donations will be distributed to need families. The collection drive ends at Winter Break, Dec. 20.

Northbrook Lights Winter Reading Program

Northbrook Public Library announces the Winter Reading Program Northbrook Lights, which is open to all ages from Dec. 1 to Jan. 31. Earn chances to win prizes for reading books. Come to the library for more information.

Orchesis Concert

GBN Dance Company 

The Glenbrook North Dance Company presents "Elevate," at 7 p.m. Dec. 12, 13, 14 and the Sheely Center for the Performing Arts on the GBN campus. Tickets are $10. Click for details.

Winter Camp at Camp Chi

JCC Chicago is offering winter camp for the weeks of Dec. 23-26 and Dec. 26-29 for children in grades 3-7. Activities include games, adventures and field trips. Download the flier for more information.

Santa Cares For Special Needs


Northbrook Court is pleased to partner with Autism Speaks and other local special needs organizations at select locations to provide the Santa Cares program this year. The program is for children and adults with special needs and abilities who would like additional assistance, extra time, or a quieter, less stressful environment in which to visit with Santa.
