1. When does registration start for KidCare for 2019-2020?
Registration will open on May 1st, 2019. Register by August 10th to guarantee a spot.

2. When is KidCare Open?
KidCare is open from 7 a.m. to 8:10 a.m. and from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on regular school days. KidCare Express is available for families who need care for a shorter duration than the full program time. KidCare is only in session when school is in session.

3.  How much does KidCare cost?
Please visit the registration and payment page for details, linked above.

4.  Are there additional fees if I pick up my child late?
Yes, there is a $15 charge per 15-minute interval for parents who arrive after 6 p.m. and an additional $15 for parents who arrive after 6:15 p.m. Three late pickups from the program may result in dismissal.

5.  Is KidCare available on half days?
Yes, this is only available to currently enrolled KidCare students.  The district has four early release days during the year K-5 students are dismissed at noon. KidCare is available for three of the four days from Noon – 5:30 p.m.  (Service not available on the first half-day, which is the Friday before Labor Day weekend). Please note that even students who are signed up for full-time KidCare in the afternoon must still be registered separately for the early release days. Half-day KidCare cost is $20.00 per day.

6. Can I change my child’s schedule after the school year has started?
Your chosen schedule will be valid for the entire school year.  This helps support continuity for staff and students.  In the event you need to make changes to your child's schedule, there will be two opportunities during the school year to make schedule changes.  Scheduling changes can be made at end 1st & 2nd trimester.  (November 22 & March 20)  Requests will need to be made in writing to the KidCare Director two weeks prior to the dates listed.

7.  Can my child walk to or from KidCare?
No. An adult must sign your child in for KidCare in the morning and out in the afternoon every day. This policy is in place to ensure your child’s safety.

8. My registration receipt doesn't reflect what I registered for. Is this correct?
If you selected both AM and PM KidCare, your student will be registered for both. The receipt will only show one program, but the internal system created both registrations.
