About
D28’s schools are between 58 and 75 years old, and our district faces a number of challenges related to aging facilities. Building Tomorrow Together was a community-led effort to bring the entire Northbrook community together to develop goals and priorities to improve our schools. Led by a team of community volunteers, Building Tomorrow Together consisted of a series of community engagement workshops, building tours and an online community survey during the 2024-25 school year. The team presented their final report to the Board of Education at a special meeting on December 18, 2024.
