Freshman Course Placement Timeline
- NBJH core academic teachers meet with GBN instructional supervisors
- GBN distributes course registration materials to NBJH students on Jan. 6
- Academic Curriculum Meeting for parents and students Jan. 10
- Course recommendations and information regarding content area assessments are e-mailed to each student's home on Jan. 13
- Request for Change in Course Level Placement forms must be returned to GBN by Jan. 23
- Questions regarding this information should be directed to the high school instructional supervisors
- 8th-grade students visit GBN on Jan. 24 and meet with counselors and complete registration process
- GBN departments administer content area assessments in early February
- Course selections mailed home for parent review/approval in early March
