Cheerleading

NBJH cheerleaders will be promoting school spirit by leading the crowd at basketball games and possibly through some school pep rallies. The school cheer team will perform routines composed of tumbling, stunting, dance, and cheer segments.

6th, 7th & 8th graders
The season will start on Monday, Oct. 17th (if not participating in another fall sport). Practices will be held Monday - Thursday from 3:45 – 4:30 pm.

Conditioning (aerobic and strength training) will be offered after-school on Mondays and Thursdays from 3:45-4:15 pm starting 9/15.
YOU MUST HAVE A CURRENT PHYSICAL TURNED IN TO THE NURSE BEFORE YOU PARTICIPATE.
***All students who will be participating in interscholastic sports are required to have a sports physical exam by a licensed physician, annually. The sports physical is good for only 13 months from the date of the exam, and must be on file in the junior high office prior to paricipation.***
PLEASE FILL OUT THE ATHLETIC CONTRACT FORM after reading the Athletic Handbook on the Athletics page before the first day of the season.
