Please take a look below for book lists for rising 1st-5th graders.
*Lists have a mix of multiple genres and writing styles to appeal to various reading interests and abilities.
*For 1st and 2nd-grade students, especially, some of the choices would make great family reads as not all books will be at the student's independent reading level.
*If your child likes a book on the list, have them try another by the same author. Some books are the first in a series!
*This is not required reading!
