Basic skills & strategies for competitive games are taught at the 6th-, 7th-, & 8th-grade levels. Teamwork, sportsmanship, and enjoying the game are also a focus at this level.
Athletic Exams, Forms, and Handbook
***All students who will be participating in interscholastic sports are required to have a sports physical exam by a licensed physician, annually. The sports physical is good for only 13 months from the date of the exam and must be on file in the junior high office prior to tryouts.***
***If your child is interested in interscholastic sports, a Mandatory Concussion form needs to be completed prior to participation in any sport. If you filled out the form during the registration process at the beginning of the school year through Info Snap, then you do not need to fill out a hard copy. ******
Parents, please fill out the Athletic Handbook Contract online after you and your child have read the Handbook thoroughly. ***If the student-athlete participated in another sport this year, you do not have to fill out the contract again unless their information has changed.***
