NBJH Gift Drive
Holiday Gift Drive for Youth Services of Glenview/Northbrook netted $600 in gift cards and loads of toys, games, blankets, crafts, treats, clothing items, and stuffed animals for under-resourced families.
Winter Sing & Art Show
Westmoor Winter Sing and Fine Arts Show. All students in grades 1-4 perform in a December choral concert.

Winter has arrived! As a reminder, students will go outside for recess when the "feels like" temperature is 10 degrees or higher. Please be sure to send your students with boots, snow pants, jackets, hats, and gloves any time the forecast calls for possible snow. Please do not send students to school with disposable hand warmers as there is some risk of students burning their skin.

The Rotary Club of Northbrook is collecting new and gently used coats of all sizes during the annual Coat Off Your Back collecting drive through Dec. 20.
Collections bins are located in the lobby of each school.

The Young Explorers leadership team launched a new podcast, The Power of Play. In our first episode of The Power of Play, we talk about the role of play in the development of cognitive functions, such as problem-solving, memory, attention, and abstract thinking.
