District 28 once again has earned the SchoolSearch Bright Red Apple Award for educational excellence. District 28 was one of only 83 Illinois school districts chosen, out of 869 districts in the state, to receive the 2010 award.
SchoolSearch, an educational research and consulting firm, evaluates districts based on a variety of factors, including academic performance, pupil/teacher ratio, and educational level of teachers.

Friday, March 12, 7-8:30 pm is time for volleyball and karaoke in the Westmoor small gym. This will be followed by make-your-own sundaes. All 2nd graders and their parents welcome.

If you were a 5th grader at Westmoor we are trying to return the ceramic tiles you created. We have run out of room and are returning tiles from the class of 1994 thru 2006.
Stop by and sort thru your class. Some tiles were broken in the process of removing them from the wall. We have done our best to salvage as many as possible.
